Changes

I am working full time from now on... can you believe it!?! Dusty and I went back and forth on this decision but in the end I decided that this was something that I really, really wanted. I love working, I love recruiting and the fact that I can do it from home and still feel like I am seeing my babies throughout the day makes it a win win!!! We said goodbye to our most lovely nanny, she headed back to college (which I hated, I almost hog tied her and made her stay, but we get her back for christmas, so I'll take that ) Taylor was so sad her last day, there were many tears around here. But the good news is that I found a wonderful nanny to stay with the kids for 30+ hours while I am working. She is spectacular! Today was her second day and when she left I realized she reorganized all the kids toys, closets, cleaned the kitchen and did the laundry. Hello awesome!!
{ our darling nanny. We will miss you!!!)
Taylor starts her pre ballet and musical theater class next tuesday and preschool starts the week after that. She is counting the minutes. and Cooper...drum roll please.... gained a pound in 5 weeks! As of today he is on a super high fat diet, we were recommended to a nutritionist and she is having us put a teaspoon of olive oil in his milk before he drinks it. All high fat foods for him!! Never thought I would here a doctor say " Your son needs to eat a lot of peanut butter and ice cream."

Taylors room

I realized today that I hadn't posted pictures of Taylors room. It's a very serious work in progress but here are some updates

Allies wedding is only seconds away. She has amazing taste. I wish I could share everything with you now but we must wait for the surprise! Here is a snip of her wedding envelope. The handwriting is AMAZING. vintage stamps.
Taylor is an artist. We paint of at least 2 hours a day. Seriously, she loves it.
Ponies. This is what my table looks like every night
This is what the flu looks like when you are 3. Poor kid
We went to a moon dance with the hippies. I LOVED IT!!! Sangria by the honor system. If you are honest you will pay and hippies dancing to the moon, oh how I love Northern California.

A snip of Allies shoes for the big day. Adore
More painting... She didn't even know she had paint on her face
Little Man... not to little anymore but just as darling. He is going to be a lady killer

Lack in posts

Sorry for the lack in posts. We have really started to get settled in the area and we have been super busy. If it's not happy hour or a BBQ we are having people over for dinner. Add work and family and house on top of that ( plus a fab wedding in the works) and the blog has been neglected.

I will say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE it in Orinda. Dusty and I were saying the other day that we have only been here for 2 months and we already have a great network of friends and neighbors. That took over a year in San Diego There is nothing better than having a good group of girlfriends and luckily I have already met some amazing women. Last Friday I went to Happy Hour with 11 mothers that all live in our little area of Sleepy Hollow. All with kids that are younger than 5. It was amazing! The only thing that would make it better is if I could move Felicia, Kristin, Christy and Marissa here. Perhaps a good kidnapping is in order!!!
( another thing I love... that I can cook in the kitchen and watch my babies play outside. Hello lovely yard. xoxo)

Believe it!!!

That my friends is a tooth. Only took 15 months to get one. I wouldn't believe it unless I saw it myself. It's a Christmas Miracle!!
