Bummer

I've been receiving emails for months with questions about my comment section. For some reason about 99 percent of comments don't go through my blog. No one can explain this and it has been frustrating me for months. I just wanted to let you all know that I'm aware of the problem and I will continue to try and fix it.

Preschool

Taylor started Preschool yesterday, and she absolutely love it! I on the other hand was a hormonal wreck. When we got to the school Taylor yelled to the teacher ( Miss Jessie) What are you doing? I put her down and she ran to her friends and started to play. I immediately started to cry and Miss Jessie told me to leave. It obviously would have been a bad thing for Taylor to see me in that silly state. As I left Taylor yelled. Bye Bye Mamma! When I picked her up she was less than interested in leaving. She didn't even get up from lunch to greet me. Isn't she darling, and lovely.
Lunch check... ready to go!
waiting for me to finish taking pictures. She was ready to get a move on.
Lunch... Thank you Aunt Allie for my personalized lunch box and water jug. I love it!!

Spring

The past few weeks have been glorious in San Diego. This weekend we had 85 degree weather and spent every minute we could outside. On Saturday we spent the morning at the San Diego zoo and than Dusty surprised me with a afternoon at our favorite beach restaurant and a BBQ with great friends. On Sunday we spent the morning at a wonderful park celebrating a friends birthday and the afternoon swimming in the pool. Perfect!!

My favorite flowers! and the best part is the that the flower fields in carlsbad sell renuculous for super cheep. They brighten the whole house.
Dressed for the park and sick of taking pictures, but still so darling... oh how I love those cheeks.

( don't worry Nana and Grammie, the hard copy of the first picture was sent to your house via snail mail!)

Cricket's Nursery

I've been trying to find the right little things for Cricket's nursery. Nothing has been really exciting to me, everything is so cheesy. But than I found this my Maxim Dalton!! I just put an order in for one of these babies. We will have it framed and design the nursery around the colors. ( and yes there will be a little sports stuff in there too).

Ummmm, little lady where have you been?

Sorry for the lack in posts the past few week. I decided to take on a few more hours at my new job. And I have been trying to figure out how to juggle all of my responsibilities.
Let me break this down for you.
30 hours at my recruiting job.
15 hours ( at least, I should be doing more.... I have orders backed up from here to Canada) Pickled Bean.
15 hours My wife/household duties ( God bless my husband but he is no help in this department, not sure where he gets that lovely trait but I know it's NOT from his mother) Dinners, cleaning, laundry, groceries, errands, walking Lucy etc
62 hours Full time mom to a VERY active toddler. (I do have help 10 hours a week) ... yes I did the math minus night sleep, naps and when I have my nanny equals 62 hours

And I should also mention that... We are moving on April 10th and I need to find us a place to live, Packing and unpacking our entire house. Taylor is potty training, I like to throw in a shower every once and awhile, ohhh and I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant.

Thus, and the reason for this post is my apologies for not getting back to phone calls and emails and Pickled Bean orders right away. I'm trying my darnedest to stay on top of everything and stay healthy and rested for little Cricket.

Slumber Parties

Team Dunaway is famous for our family slumber parties. At least once a month we devote a night to snuggling in bed and watching moves. I hope that this is a tradition that we will keep for years. it's a perfect way to recharge our family batteries and focus on the things that are the most important to us. Here is the play by play from last Friday.
Dusty came home early! And was ready to party by 5:30. ( That was out biggest treat) We each made our own personal mini pizza's Taylor had a great time.... eating the cheese and making a big mess
Tasting the pizza sauce. Dusty is an extra sauce kinda guy, I like very very little sauce and Taylor is right in the middle. Perfect like the three bears.
Dusty brought home temporary tat's and dollar games for us to play while our pizza's baked.
I'm a biker babe! As a side not, these are extremely hard to remove.
Taylor's pizza
An extra special treat is eating with the t.v. We rented Up!. And loved every minute of it. Taylor was so concerned for Papa ( yes, she was convinced that the little old man in the move was her Papa and not a cartoon. She kept jumping up and saying " oh no, What happened? Papa, Papa) Most darling.
Cookies and milk in bed. I even let her stay up past her bedtime to finish the show ( 30 minutes) not to shabby, what a lucky little lady.

most beautiful

Dusty and I have been sending pictures of this beautiful painting for Dusty's step father. Isn't it beautiful? We have it hanging over our couch, it has been a key art piece in our house for years. Dusty's step father Sean painted it years ago. I love love love it. He is so talented, perhaps I should ask him to paint a picture of our little peanut.

Dunaway Family Update

What's new with the Dunaway Crew?
1. We are moving to a new house. We have decided to continue renting in the North County Coastal area until we have a better idea what out finances will be. Still looking but we are out of our temporary apartment on the 10th of April. So Times a tickin'
2. I had my monthly prenatal check up and I gained 3 pounds! Which means I'm back up to my pre pregnancy weight and I can stop counting calories... yipeeeeee ( I'm 25 weeks, only 15 more to go)
3.We have decided on a name for Cricket! Finally, and we are so happy. ( nope, still not sharing until June 22nd) Although a few people have heard me slip, but they promised not to tell.
4. I started my new temp job. Which has been A LOT more work than I had expected but the extra money is nice.
5. Taylor is talking up a storm, putting sentences together and singing all day long.
6. Dusty is in full swing at Paramount energy solutions. He is doing great. He is in heaven... Selling a product he is passionate about and I'm loving the fact that he's not managing any more. WIN WIN.
7. Cricket is growing bigger by the minute, still a strong kicker... can't wait to meet the little man.

All grown up...

Our Taylor as turned into quite the big girl. She has fully transistioned into her big girl bed! {As a side note: I was so worried about this big move and she did an amazing job. We had one hard night and since than she has gone to bed ( as scheduled) without so much as a whimper. She is even staying in her bed and asking permission to get up when she wakes. Thank God for Babywise and Toddlerwise!}
She has been going potty in the big girl potty! {All of this guided by her. I have a lot on my plate and the last thing I wanted to think about was potty training! Miss peanut has decided she is not interested in wearing her diaper and is very happy in her big girl undies. This morning was diaper free without any acciednets. Again I'm not pushing this in the least but if she wants to be diaper free more power to her}

This Week for Dinner

Sunday: Chicken and noddles, green peas and green salad
Monday: Stuffed peppers, cucumber and tomato salad
Tuesday: Roasted vegetable lasagna, garlic bread and garden salad
Wednesday: 8 hour beef stew, homemade buttermilk biscuits and sharp cheddar cheese
Thursday: Southwest Spicy Chicken Salad
Friday: Mini Personal Pizza's
Saturday: Leftovers

One more birthday video. This is of Taylor's actual birthday. Frightfully dull unless you are family and want to watch Taylor open the gifts you got her. So family enjoy... friends I'll post more goodies tomorrow!
