Last week I made the most amazing slow cooker smothered mushroom and garlic pork chops. Dusty and Taylor couldn't get enough { Taylor actually ate 1 1/2 pork chops for dinner and asked for more} You must try this. So easy and mommy friendly.
4 bone in thick cut pork chops
1/4 cup flour
salt and pepper
1 tsp dried mustard
1 package mushrooms, cleans and sliced
1/2 package of Lipton onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom and garlic soup
1/4 cup chicken stock
Mix the flour salt and pepper and dried mustard. Dredge pork chops and fry in a skillet until light brown. Place in the bottom of a slow cooker. Mix Mushrooms, soup mix, cream of mushroom soup and chicken stock and pour over pork chops. Cook on Low setting for 7 to 8 hours. They will fall off the bone and be fork tender. I threw some parsley on for color.
I served them with rice but it would be wonderful with egg noddles. Enjoy
