(Fathers Day 2010)
Can you believe that it has been one week since Cooper was born? Time flies when you are exhausted :) Our little man has been to the doctor twice to monitor his weight gain and we are happy to announce that he is on the right track. He gained 4 ounces over the last 3 days and is only a few ounces away from his birth weight. At this point we are on lock down and have been told to treat Cooper like a preemie until he is 8 pounds. He is only allowed to visit the doctor and than right home to our little cave. We also found out that his length measurement was off at the hospital. He was pretty upset after the birth so it was hard to get an accurate length. He is really 19.5 inches long not 18 inches. Which makes him taller than Taylor at birth. He is sleeping well, going for a nice 5 hour stretch, quick feed and than 3 more hours. It's been nice to have some rest to Dusty and I can get back on track. Taylor has been a super star. She loves Cooper so much, she is extremely gentle and loves to give him kisses.

Ash, congratulations! He looks so darn cute. I LOVE that you named him Cooper, because Chad has a Cooper. Life gets so crazy when you have a new little one. I wish you the very best! We're coming to stay in La Jolla next month. It would be great to see you guys again!
Congrats to the Dunaway family!!! I can't wait to meet Mr. Cooper when he is ready for visitors!!!!
