How many vacations are too many?

In retrospect we traveled way to much this summer and in all honesty I was very excited to be home and back into a routine. But we had the most amazing time and filled our little brains with long lasting memories. Trips included ( in a 2 month span) Yosemite, Santa Cruz, Salt Lake City, Tahoe, Cincinnati and Indianapolis. We were also luck enough to have my parents in town for 2 weeks!

Things I learned --
1. My kids are wonderful travelers. Both in the car for 13 hours and long cross country flights -- I am so lucky
2. Taylor is quite the dare devil and has turned into a fantastic swimmer. HELLO Hidive
3. No amount of Advil can save your back after sleeping on a blow up bed for a week.
4. Cooper is a super trooper. Ripping off his toe nail and enduring the ER without any painkillers and partying like a rock star for 3 days with a fever over 100
5.  Life long College friends are family.
6. Loyalty and Honesty mean more to our team than anything else.
7. Dusty and I will buy a lake house before we buy a "real" house.
8. Grandparents are the BEST ( super thank you for the hours of kid play time from Grammie, Papa, Grandma Cindy and Grandpa Ernie) -- It's not often that Dusty and I can go out on date nights weekly.
9. Family pictures: even cheesy ones in a strip mall. Have to been done EVERY time you are all together.
10. I have the best family in the world. I've always known this but I am reminded every time I am in Salt Lake and Ohio. My parents and Dustys parents are fantastic examples of how to raise smart, caring little people. We are blessed.

Now... the pictures. All 55 of them... I could have done this in two posts but whats the point?!?   Enjoy:)

More "cousins" these sweet boys played with Cooper for 3 days. They were amazing. Helping him and holding his hand all day long. They even would put him to bed at night. 13 and 10 and they promised to protect Cooper for the rest of there lives. They cared more about him then anything else all weekend. I would be blessed if my children turned out 1/2 as amazing as these two!
