The Pickled Bean Story

I am thrilled to announce the launch of The Pickled Bean and lovely little things. After years of gentle nudging from my friends and family, I have finally started my own company. I am extremely delighted to share my products and services with you. I have been making paper goods and crafts for as long as I can remember. I have always taken great pride in creating my scrapbooks, thank you and gift cards, announcements, personalized greetings and other “lovely little things”. After receiving so many positive and encouraging complements, I have turned my passion into a business.
Following the birth of my first daughter I was disappointed with the accessories that were sold at national retailers and local boutiques. Most of the products I found were made with lace and rhinestones or put together with cheap ribbon or poorly constructed. So, I decided to make accessories that matched my personal style. Within weeks of making my first bows, people were stopping me on the street and offering to buy them. The gentle nudging from my friends and family became shoving and with the orders for my bows piling up I finally decided to open up an online shop to sell my products and services. Along with my online shop, I have started a blog where my handmade odds and ends will be sold as well as craft and homemaking ideas will be shared.
Without you The Pickled Bean would not have launched and for that I am deeply thankful. Wish me luck and I look forward to seeing your comments on thepickledbean.com.
